Spiritual Solutions In Nigeria’s Battle Against Insecurity: The Role of Primate Elijah Ayodele

By Olomi Jelili, Lagos
When a nation grapples with insecurity, the customary recourse for military forces often involves deploying firearms, grenades, and ammunition to address the threat. However, the crucial query remains: to what extent have these conventional methods effectively mitigated insurgent activities, and have they potentially exacerbated the situation?
For a nation like Nigeria, insecurity became outright in 2013 during the emergence of Boko Haram terrorists but till now, despite efforts by the country’s security agencies to combat them using conventional methods like ammunition, the insurgents have not been effectively subdued. Instead, they have grown in strength and numbers. This indicates that the conventional approach to addressing insecurity has been ineffective.
Based on the preceding information, it is evident that nations grappling with insecurity must adopt unconventional strategies to combat this pervasive threat effectively. Merely relying on traditional methods such as firearms and explosives is insufficient. Instead, a comprehensive approach incorporating alternative and proven measures is essential to address insecurity, particularly in nations like Nigeria.
Throughout history and in biblical accounts, we find stories illustrating unconventional methods of overcoming adversity. For example, the children of Israel brought down the walls of Jericho through joyful praise and music (Joshua 6:1-27), while King Hezekiah achieved victory over his enemies through prayer rather than warfare (2 Kings 19:14-37). These narratives demonstrate that victories against insecurity have been achieved through means beyond conventional military tactics such as wielding swords or firearms, emphasizing the power of faith and alternative approaches.
Given the demonstrated ineffectiveness of conventional methods in addressing insecurity, it is imperative for Nigerian security agencies to consider spiritual avenues for resolving the nation’s security challenges. The remarkable aspect of this approach is that spiritual solutions are readily accessible through Nigerian spiritual leaders, eliminating the need for extensive search efforts.
When discussing spiritual leaders or prophets, it’s noteworthy to mention Primate Elijah Ayodele, the esteemed leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church in Lagos, who stands out as the singular figure foreseeing insecurity challenges and offering solutions.
The esteemed prophet has demonstrated his spiritual insight by providing unbidden aid to the nation’s security forces, disclosing the locations of insurgent activities in advance, thereby enabling proactive measures. Regrettably, on numerous occasions, these warnings have been disregarded or overlooked, despite their consistent accuracy.
For instance, the abduction of the Chibok Girls in 2014 which occurred in Borno state was forewarned by the renowned prophet. He warned of the activities of terrorists and advised the government to secure Nigerian academic institutions but due to their negligence, the incident occurred and till now, the students have not all been released.
Recently in his prophecies for 2024, Primate Ayodele mentioned some states in the country where insecurity would persist in the year including the federal capital territory, Abuja. He revealed that kidnapping would take a different dimension in 2024 and truthfully, Nigeria has never experienced a kidnap attack in recent times as it has been happening since the beginning of 2024 especially in Abuja, the seat of power.
The recent abductions in Nigerian schools have also fulfilled the prophecies of Primate Ayodele which he warned about in 2023.
On the 1st of October, 2023, Primate Ayodele in his usual way of releasing prophetic messages warned the federal and state government to secure Nigerian secondary schools as he foresaw an attack in the education sector.
It would be recalled that Primate Ayodele was the only man of God that assured that the abducted students in Kaduna would be rescued alive. In fulfillment of this, the Kaduna state government announced the successful rescue of the students in the early hours of today.
Primate Ayodele’s prophetic gifts have extended far beyond Nigeria’s borders, reaching the global stage. A notable example is the recent gang takeover in Haiti, which fulfilled a prophecy he shared in October 2023. At that time, he cautioned of an imminent total shutdown and violence orchestrated by gangs within the country.
Similarly, the recent political upheaval in Senegal aligns with the prophetic insights of Primate Elijah Ayodele. In advance, he cautioned President Macky Sall that his involvement in the country’s upcoming political transition would precipitate a crisis. Despite being advised against extending his tenure, the president’s decision led to the foretold crisis.
Few days ago, Moscow came under heavy terrorist attack, leading to the death of more than 130 people just three days after Primate Ayodele warned President Putin against such an occurrence. Earlier in the year, the man of God warned Russia to be careful of an attack that will lead to the death of several individuals.
There are many more instances that have proven that Primate Ayodele’s prophetic prowess can be an alternative solution to tackling insecurity in countries especially in Nigeria where he hails from.
It’s sad that when Primate Ayodele releases these prophecies about insecurities, some refer to him as prophet of doom when in the real sense, what he is simply doing is ‘spiritual intelligence’ where physical intelligence fails.
Thankfully, the Chief of Naval staff, Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla in his statement a few days ago acknowledged the importance of divine intervention when he called on Nigerians to pray to God for insecurity to end in the country.
It is not known whether our service chiefs including the Chief of Army staff, Chief of Naval staff, Inspector General of Police, and Chief of Defense Staff follow the prophecies of Primate Ayodele but if they don’t; it is high time they knew that his warnings should be used as guidance in carrying out their respective duties.
The enduring presence of insecurity in Nigeria indicates that current approaches have either been ineffective or insufficient. Despite Primate Ayodele offering numerous pieces of advice to the present service chiefs, it seems evident that they have not heeded his counsel.
While some of these advisories may seem unconventional or enigmatic, akin to the victories of Hezekiah, who triumphed in war without wielding swords, or the children of Israel who brought down Jericho’s walls through song, it is now opportune for our security forces to embrace the extraordinary, mystical, and spiritual in combating insecurity in Nigeria.

WARNING TO ADELABU: Ignore Primate Ayodele’s Prophecy And Forget About Becoming Next Oyo Governor!

In the last one week or so, there has been an exchange of words between the camps of one of Nigeria’s prominent prophets, Primate Ayodele Elijah, the founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual church and the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu. And while it must be noted that the media handlers of the very popular clergy have been most refined and civil with their response, the Adelabu camp, on the hand, have lacked tact and professionalism in their response. They have resorted to name calling and a futile attempt to bring Primate Ayodele’s name to disrepute.
Typical of the renowned Primate, he has remained silent and unmoved by all the rhetoric and mudslinging of the Adelabu camp against his person. He is way too busy with his philanthropic and ministerial works to pay attention to a group of people who have lost all sense of decorum all in their bid to satisfy the whims and caprices of their sponsor. Of course, anyone who knows Primate Ayodele closely will tell you he is possibly the most vocal man of God in the land right now. For a man who constantly speaks truth to power and repeatedly calls out the government and elected public office holders and holds them accountable, everyone knows the last thing you could try with Primate Ayodele is to intimidate him. He literally enjoys watching people in power attempt to intimidate him because he is confident they will be humbled in the end.
When Primate Ayodele decides to take on the high and mighty, he does so with his full chest and stands by the truth without giving a hoot whose ox is gored. But when he considers your ranting as highly inconsequential, he dismisses you and moves on as though you do not even exist. Ask SatGuru maharaji, when he senselessly took on Primate Ayodele, using his cronies in the media. The Primate never gave him the honor of a minute attention! He totally ignored the man and treated his mindless media attacks as nothing but the ranting of an ant. Today, Guru Maharaji gone tired of his own ranting, his tongue is weak, the house is quiet again. I suspect the Primate plans to give the Honourable Minister of Power same silent treatment.
For the benefit of those who missed out on the genesis of the matter, permit us to do a recap for you. A couple of weeks ago, Primate Ayodele had released a prophecy stating categorically that the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, who also aspires to contest in the coming Oyo state gubernatorial election, will not win the election. He warned that the people of Oke ogun will challenge Ibadan’s dominance in the coming election and that Adelabu stands no chance of becoming the next governor of Oyo state, and except of course, if he seeks the face of God. Primate also affirmed that Teslim Folarin stands a better chance if only he can strategise better and finish as strongly as he often starts his campaigns. And from the moment the prophecy got into the public space, the Adelabu camp went on rampage. They threw all sorts of tirades at Primate but the globally revered man of God who enjoys very cordial relationship with many African leaders paid no attention to them, focussing only on more significant matters on his table.
Personally, I am surprised that the Honourable Minister and his group of supporters have taken the matter the way they did. The minister needs to climb down from his high horse and try to see how he can even attempt to salvage the situation and turn that prophecy around. Candidly, I will advice that he listens to what the Prophet of God has said or be prepared to get hugely disappointed in the end. The Honourable Minister, to the best of my knowledge is a Muslim, a devout one for that matter, and here you are, taking on a man of God who merely issued a warning to you regarding your governorship ambition? Rather than go confrontational, you should listen to the warning, seek counsel and call on God’s intervention, not engage the man in a war of words.
And, just as the Minister himself knows, we are talking about a Primate Ayodele who has consistently shown incredible accuracies in his prophecies. He has done this time and time again, so why would you dismiss the warnings of a man like that? The intention behind this article is not necessarily to persuade you to listen to Primate Ayodele, it is your choice to ultimately decide what you want. Everything depends largely on how badly you want to become the next governor of Oyo state. But, in the end, I think time will tell.
Perhaps the Minister considers himself as above God, and one who knows better, so he does not need directives of any form from anyone. Perhaps that is the reason why he replied the man of God. And since he has taken it upon himself to not only reply the man of God but also ordered his camp to publicly critisise the man’s prophecy, then I take it that he has very little respect for God and for his prophets.
t is necessary to note that this will be the third gubernatorial attempt of Adebayo Adelabu in his quest to become the Executive governor of Oyo state. “Honourable Minister, you failed in your first attempt to become governor of Oyo state, you failed in your second attempt as well, and from the look of things, you will fail again if you continue with this show of contempt for the words emanating from the man of God. If you’re indeed ready to win the election, and you’re serious about becoming the next governor, then you should not have replied the Primate.” Rather than focus on improving the epileptic power situation in the country, the minister is using tax payers’ money to fund the media campaign against Primate Ayodele, when most parts of the country are perpetually plunged into darkness every single day.”
Personally, I do not think that being a Muslim necessarily means you should not show respect to a man of God. That you are the Minister of Power and close to the President is only by the grace of God, not necessarily because you’re better than the rest. You need to eschew arrogance and exude humility, this, more than brilliance, sometimes, can take a man far beyond his wildest dreams. That you know the President does not always translate to mean victory is assured, it is God that gives victory and makes a man Governor or President. What the man of God has said about the next Oyo governorship election is the position of God on the issue. Ask Andy Uba what happened after Primate Ayodele issued same kind of warning when he also wanted to become governor. Ask Segun Oni of Ekiti state and they will tell you about Primate Ayodele and his prophecies.
It will also be recalled that before the 2023 presidential election, Igbos thought Obi would win the election, it is on record that in January 2023, Primate Ayodele spoke to a section of the media and warned that both Atiku and Obi were not going to win the election because they lacked focus and direction in their approach. Even as he warned Nigerians not to vote for Tinubu as his regime would bring hardship to the nation, he still called the attention of Atiku and Peter Obi to the message God had for them and made it clear they were not doing enough to win the election. And today, the rest is history. If the Honourable Minister chooses to throw away the warning of Primate Ayodele, then he has simply shot himself in the foot and will be doing his gubernatorial ambition a big harm. A word, they say, is enough for the wise.

Primate Ayodele and Bayo Adelabu’s Campaign Group: Stating The Facts Right

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele had revealed in a video that the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, who also has an ambition to become the next governor of Oyo state, that his ambition will not succeed. The prophet categorically mentioned in an interview with Tribune newspaper over the weekend that the people of Oke Ogun will challenge Ibadan’s dominance while asserting that Adelabu cannot become the next governor of the state.“In Oyo, there’s growing unrest. Muslims are preparing for a political showdown. The people of Oke-Ogun will challenge Ibadan’s dominance. Adebayo Adelabu cannot become governor. Teslim Folarin has a chance but lacks the finishing strength….’’However, an unpopular group, Oyo State Voluntary Campaigners allegedly sponsored by the minister obviously wasn’t comfortable with Primate Ayodele’s prophecy and resorted to media attacks against the prophet. In several media platforms, the group has described Primate Ayodele as one who prophesies to exploit politicians, while alleging that the prophet said President Tinubu would not become the president of Nigeria, but it didn’t come to pass. The group further threatened to report Primate Ayodele to the relevant authorities for a legal case if he doesn’t stop prophesying about Bayo Adelabu’s governorship ambition. While the group is entitled to Primate Ayodele’s prophecy against its paymaster, the response is not only funny but highly irresponsible and painted with unfounded lies in an attempt to tarnish the already prosperous prophetic ministry of Primate Ayodele. To start with, arguably, no one in Nigeria didn’t hear about Primate Ayodele during the buildup to the 2023 presidential election. Among the prophets, Primate Ayodele had the prophecy that went viral the most, with nothing less than 40 million views and reactions. The prophecy was simple, clear, and concise;“I’m not saying anyone should not insult me; I am not scared of any human being. If Nigeria votes APC in 2023, things will be tougher. We will see human beings and want to eat them like food. This is how God told me. I am not saying you should not criticise me or say anything against me, even as an APC member; I warned you in 2015 too. If you want to vote for lies in 2023, if you vote for the party that has a broom as their symbol, I pity churches. I am not against anybody, and I don’t vote. Nigeria will be tough. If you vote and Tinubu enters, there will be serious problems.” “If Nigerians vote for APC in 2023, the country will sink, we will swim in poverty, and the economy will be in shambles. If the APC wins, Nigeria will suffer extraordinarily. We have not yet seen hardship; if APC wins, the real hardship will come. The economy will be sick.”This wasn’t the only one, he had even mentioned in 2022 that if Nigerians vote for the wrong candidate, the economy will be in shambles.‘’If Nigeria vote for a wrong candidate, dollar will rise to N1,500, diesel will rise to N1,500 or N2,000, bread of N200 will be N800, cost of living will be high, and I am telling you terrorism will be high, prepaid meter bill will be high and the rate of poverty will be high. This will affect both the rich and the poor, we may get it wrong the way we are going about it, we are getting it wrong.’’‘’Let God direct us to get the right president in 2023. if we get the wrong president, our economy will fail. I am afraid of the country. This is a sensitive time in our country, making noise will not solve anything at this moment’’In all of these, one begins to wonder where this group manufactured its allegation that Primate Ayodele said Tinubu would not win. To interpret, what the prophet meant was that if Nigerians vote for President Tinubu and APC in 2023, there will be too much hardship. This doesn’t mean that Tinubu wouldn’t win, and looking back at what the prophet said three years ago, we are currently experiencing even worse as a country; this obviously confirms Primate Ayodele as a true man of God.About claims that Primate Ayodele’s prophecies are only for politicians because he wants something from them, it’s wonderful how people who don’t know a bit about Primate Ayodele’s life decide to cook up some fake things sometimes. What does any politician want to give Primate Ayodele that he doesn’t have already? Adelabu, who is just a minister with failed governorship ambitions? Do these people know the calibre of people who seek Primate Ayodele’s spiritual counsel even outside the country and continent? In the calculation of things, Adelabu is too small to give Primate Ayodele anything because he doesn’t even need anything from him.Furthermore, it’s highly important to let Adelabu and his group know that Primate Ayodele isn’t one to tackle with the media or threaten with a lawsuit; many have tried it because he warned them, but today, what they were warned against has happened to them. The latest being Mele Kyari, the sacked NNPC GCEO, whom Primate Ayodele warned last year but chose to go this same route. Sadly, he was disgraced out of office as the prophet warned him. Likewise, Andy Uba will never forget Primate Ayodele, who warned him not to embark on his governorship ambition in Anambra but called the prophet names and ignored his prophetic warning. He lost gallantly in the election and afterwards was removed from the list of candidates by the court, making his situation dire.

How Primate Ayodele Foretold Total Blackout In Europe Two Months Ago

When it comes to accurately foretelling what would happen in the future, including what may seem impossible at first till it eventually happens, just leave it for Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church; That is what makes his ministry unique.
You may call him names, make a jest of him when he shares his prophecies, but whenever they come to pass, you would have no choice but to bow to God’s grace upon his prophetic ministry.
It’s not surprising that in the African continent, Primate Ayodele remains one of the most respected prophets, even by presidents who had once ignored his prophetic messages because they didn’t believe till it came to pass.
The former president of Liberia, George Weah, is a perfect example of presidents who ignored the prophet’s warnings but ended up acknowledging the greatness of his ministry. Primate Ayodele had before the last election in Liberia warned Weah, who was seeking a second term in office,e that he would not win his bid except he does somethings which he mentioned. Primate Ayodele warned Weah about eight times regarding how the election would not be in his favour excepts he listens to God.
Unfortunately, the election came, and Weah lost to the opposition party, as Primate Ayodele had foretold. The interesting part of this whole scenario is that in February this year, George Weah left his comfort zone in Liberia to visit Primate Ayodele in his Nigerian church and declared him his spiritual father.
It was the same way Primate Ayodele revealed in 2022 that William Ruto was going to defeat Raila Odinga, who had the backing of the Kenyan president, Uhuru Kenyatta at the time when the presidential election was held. Logically, an opposition candidate couldn’t win against another who clearly had the backing of the president, but it happened as Primate Ayodele mentioned.
You would not see Primate Ayodele prophesying about ordinary things that the human mind can easily predict, and it is in this spirit that he foretold in February 2025 that there will be a total blackout in Europe.
In the prophecy which was published on major news platforms, Primate Ayodele mentioned that the blackout would occur for days and it would cause several crises on the continent.
These were his words
“I see a shortage of gas in Europe which will cause challenges for the rest of the world because the price will skyrocket to a never-seen-before level.
“ Likewise, Europe and America must prepare because I saw darkness in the nations around the continent. There will be a power shutdown for days and it will be very serious.
“Europe needs to brace up for what is coming as I see strange bad weather, shortage of gas, and total blackout for days which will shut down operations and cause serious damaging crisis.”
As impossible as it sounded, the past two days have been devastating for citizens of some European countries following a total shutdown of power, as Primate Ayodele foretold.
Major power outages across large areas of Spain and Portugal, as well as parts of southern France, knocked out traffic lights and disrupted public transportation and airport operations on Monday.
Numerous passengers were left stranded in the metro systems of the Spanish and Portuguese capitals, with trains stuck in tunnels between stations, Euronews Portugal reports. The blackout has affected hospitals, too, including Madrid’s La Paz and multiple medical facilities in Portugal, with some being forced to cancel surgeries.
Although electricity is gradually returning to the countries affected, the event has further confirmed the uniqueness and credibility of Primate Ayodele’s ministry.
