Wema Bank Announces Top 3 Contestants in Sounds of ALAT Competition

Lagos, Nigeria – Wema Bank, Nigeria’s leading innovative bank, is excited to announce the top 3 contestants in its highly anticipated Sounds of ALAT competition. The competition, launched a few months ago, aimed to discover and support budding upcoming musicians across Nigeria, and give them a platform to showcase their talent to the world.
After a rigorous selection process, the top 3 contestants; Onyealisigwe Bright, Fashoro Taiye, and Kareem Tomiwa were unanimously announced by the celebrity judges; Cobhams Asuquo, Omawumi, DJ Sose, and Alpha Ojini at a 4-day boot camp hosted at the bank’s Purple Academy.
These talented top 3 individuals will now proceed to the final stage of the competition, where they will battle it out for the grand prize of N3 million for the Winner, N2 million for 1st runner up, and N1 million for the 2nd runner up.

Sounds of ALAT received an overwhelming response, with over 500 entries from various parts of Nigeria. From this pool of entries, 10 participants were shortlisted for the next round, namely John Daramola, Demebide Moni Annie, Fashoro Taiye, Okafor Jane, Kareem Tomiwa, Emesim Chigozie, Olasunkanmi Alabi, Onyealisigwe Bright, Ale Felix, and Oluwatimilehin Fortune, who all put in their best.
The shortlisted candidates had a 4-day boot camp that took place at the Wema Bank Purple Academy. The boot camp provided an immersive experience for the participants to learn from music industry experts and develop their skills. The celebrity judges, including Omawumi, DJ Sose, Cobhams Asuquo, and Alpha Ojini, provided constructive feedback to the top 10 participants during the masterclass and the studio recording sessions.

Fearless Energy Drink Captivates Fans with a Thrilling Contest and VIP Movie Experiences

The premium Fearless energy drink of Rite Foods Limited ignited the ‘Embrace the Thrill’ passion of consumers through various board games, football, and video games of different types, with a climax dubbed ‘The Fearless Challenge,’ an ice bucket contest where three winners emerged on Saturday, 15th of July 2023.
During the competition, the contestants endured the icy test by having their legs dipped in ice for an impressive 30 minutes at a stretch. The three winners: Agbaje Ebenezer, Nelson Osamor, and Oluwaseun Afolabi Adeleye received a grand prize of a free one-year supply of Fearless energy drink. A lot of supplementary freebies and consolation prizes, including branded Fearless bags, face hats, caps, water bottles, and other merchandise, were also given to participants and cheering spectators.

WTT Contestants Laud Coronation, Others as Competition Ends on Soaring Note in Nigeria

Lagos, Nigeria, 20th of June 2023 Participants at the just-concluded World Tennis Tournament (WTT) series have commended Leading Global Investment Company, Coronation and other brands who sponsored the global Sports fiesta in Nigeria. The week-long tennis competition which took place at the prestigious Sir Okoya Thomas Indoor Sports Hall in Surulere, produced sparks of thrilling performances as renowned table tennis players delivered breath-taking skills for fans around the world.
Aimed at transforming the table tennis experience and how it is delivered internationally through world-class events, the WTT showpiece was designed to promote engaging fan-centric content and enhancements which will encourage more people to play and consume table tennis.
It could be recalled that Coronation Insurance provided insurance cover for all the table tennis players at the event. This was done with the clear intention to boost private investors’ confidence in the Sports industry and help to improve fundamental social and interpersonal skills, which aids in crime reduction and building national unity.
Sharing his perspective on the competition, Nigeria’s tennis sensation, Taiwo Mati, recognized Coronation Insurance for offering to support the initiative. He stated that “we are aware that insurance plays a very vital role in the journey of sportspersons globally.
