MultiChoice, a CANAL+ company, recently unveiled a new line-up of packages for DStv and GOtv, introducing a fresh approach to how subscribers enjoy their favourite entertainment. So, what does this change mean for GOtv subscribers? What happens to your current package, and what can you look forward to with the new options?

Finding the right package

The introduction of Easy, Starter, Select and Sports reflects a move towards making GOtv’s offerings easier for subscribers to understand. Rather than choosing solely on price, viewers can consider the channels and programmes they enjoy most and select a package that suits their lifestyle.

As the new packages take effect from November 5, 2026, GOtv’s focus is on offering viewers clearer choices across different entertainment needs and budgets. Whether subscribers are looking for everyday viewing, family entertainment, or live sporting action, the new structure aims to make it easier to find an option that works for them.
