Glenfiddich’s #ToBoldFutures Extravaganza: A Whisky Wonderland with M.I. and Nancy Isime!
Last weekend, Glenfiddich’s #ToBoldFutures train took the streets of Port Harcourt, by storm offering residents of The Garden City an opportunity to join in the celebrations.
The #ToBoldFutures campaign, a celebration of resilience, creativity, and the relentless determination to push the boundaries of what is possible has been sweeping the country. Glenfiddich recently treated Lagos and Abuja residents have recently been treated to mesmerizing nights that encapsulate Afrofuturism, music, and the spirit of experimentalism.
In Port Harcourt, the Next Cash and Carry store in Trans Amadi transformed into an exclusive haven for whisky aficionados, super fans, and the public. Here, Glenfiddich’s Mavericks, M.I. Abaga and Nancy Isime graced the superstore with their charismatic presence.
The pièce de résistance of the evening was an exclusive opportunity for fans who purchased in Glenfiddich’s 12, 15, or 18 Year Old limited edition sleeves to mingle with the Mavericks and have their custom sleeves signed. Beyond the signatures attendees also had the privilege of immortalizing the moment through personalized photographs—a visual keepsake destined for a cherished spot in their memory vaults.
Launched on October 1st, the limited edition sleeves stand as a visual testament to the core of Glenfiddich’s #ToBoldFutures campaign. Each sleeve’s bold and distinctive design serves as a canvas that blends the unique personalities of each Maverick and the celebration of AfroFuturism.
The festivities didn’t stop at the signatures and snapshots! The party moved to 15 on Herbert, where an after-party unfolded—whisky cocktails flowed, laughter echoed, and the ambiance pulsed with the energy of the bold and beautiful crowd. The Mavericks partied with fans and the night closed with a flourish.

Breaking: Court Grants Sowore Bail With N200 Million And Two Sureties As Conditions
Justice Mohammed Umar of the Federal High Court Abuja has granted a N200 million Naira bail, and two sureties to the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress and Online Publisher, Omoyele Sowore.In a ruling, Justice Umar ordered that one of the Surety, must be a traditional ruler from sowore’s community and the other, must have a landed property in Abuja. The sureties must also be verified by the prosecution team. The court also ordered Sowore to deposit his international passport with deputy chief registrar of the court.He is to remain in custody till the bail conditions are met.

Kwara effects minor cabinet reshuffle as Gov Abdulrazaq thanks affected appointees for selfless service
Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has approved a minor cabinet shake up involving all Special Advisers, Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, and Special Assistants. The decision, which is meant to extend opportunities to more party members and inject fresh energy into the administration, also affected the Deputy Chief of Staff; and the Principal Private Secretary to the Governor. “His Excellency expresses his gratitude to all the appointees for their priceless service to the state. He wishes them the best in their future endeavours,” according to a statement early Monday. The Governor directs all the affected appointees to hand over all government’s properties in their custody to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government.
