SRJ Distributes Empowerment Tools To Osun Central Farmers

The empowerment programme of the Senator representing Osun Central Senatorial District, Dr. Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, takes another leap tomorrow, Wednesday, December 29, 2021 with the distribution of farm implements to farmers across the district.

The event holding at the Osun Central Senatorial District Constituency Office, opposite Las-Palmas Filling Station, Ayetoro, Osogbo will feature the distribution of Chemicals used before planting for Maize and Cassava (Uproot), Pre-emergence for Maize and Cassava (Spray Dry), Post-emergence for Maize and Cassava (Tamafit ‘2-4D’), Fungicides for Cocoa and Cash Crop and Sprayers (16 litres).

Other items include, Wheel Barrow, Rubber Boots, Rake, Cutlasses, Watering Can and Treated Maize.

Expected at the event are members of All Farmers Association of Nigeria AFAN, Babaloja Cassava Growers Association, Cassava Planters, Associations, Subsistence and Mechanised farmers who registered at the constituency office.

A statement from the Osun Central Senatorial District Office urges would be beneficiaries to attend the event promptly.
