Ijebu League of Imams and Alfas Confer on Ogunjobi the Waziri of Ijebu Land

Honourable Tele Ogunjobi has been conferred with the Waziri Musulumi of Ijebuland by the League of Imams and Alfa’s of Ijebu Land on Sunday 29th, November, 2020.

According to the Secretary of the League of Imams, Alhaji Ejalonibu, he said “today, 29th of November, 2020 marks another step in the history of Islam in Ijebuland as Asiwaju Oloruntele Abdul-Rasheed Ogunjobi and Alhaja Tawakalitu Omowunmi Ogunjobi were presented a letter of honor of the titles of the Wazir Musulumi of Ijebuland and Otun Iya-Adinni of Ijebuland (Muslim)”

The presentation of letter to the first Waziri of Ijebuland was led by secretary league of imams and Alfas Ijebuland Alh. Ejalonibu, the Eketa Adinni of ljebuland, Cheif lmam of Ago-Iwoye, Chief imam of Egbe Ijebu , mufti of Ijebu land , Chief Imam of Ijebu Igbo, Imam Atiba from Odogbolu, Chief Imam from Ijebu East, Imam Owu, Imam Isinwo, Dr. ASHIMU Chief Imam of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Hon. Tobi Ajibise treasurer league I’mam ijebuland and Alh. Akewukowo the Alefa Tijaniyyah.
