Ọmọba Olumide Okueyungbo, the ACCORD candidate for  the Ogun State House of  Assembly in Ikebu Northeast Local Government in the last election, a PDP scribe mourns with the entire PDP family on the demise of Senator Buruji Kashamu.
Omooba Okueyungbo described Senator Buruji Kashamu  as a Gladiator who carved himself a political space and maintained it.
Okueyungbo further described Senator Buruji Kashamu as a man who was resolute and a man who will be greatly missed in Ijebu land and beyond.
He enjoined his supporters, members and leaders of the PDP across board to pay their last respects to a man of immense courage barring every animosity even as the development calls for a sober reflection.
“One path I’ve independently chosen to follow in my journey in the Ogun PDP is the path to lasting peace and progress of the party. And as God Almighty would have it, I resumed talks with the leadership of both factions of the party within my Local Government only a few weeks ago as all politics is local. The news of Prince Kashamu’s death remain a rude shock and one not to be easily forgotten”.
“This should naturally call for a genuine truce as those were his last calls in a public interview he granted” He said.
May Almighty God grant him eternal rest and his family the fortitude to bear the loss.
