Country Representative of the World Health Organisation, WHO in Nigeria, Walter Kazadi Molumbo has called for collaborative surveillance to tackle the issue of bio-security threats in the West African sub-region.

Molumbo who was also speaking on the current floods across different parts of Nigeria during a media briefing on the forthcoming Africa Bio-security Conference expressed concerns over chances of disease outbreaks in affected areas, if urgent steps are not taken to address the trend.
