The conversations around Big Brother Naija Season 11 are only just getting started, and now viewers have their first chance to influence the game. As everyone gets to know the housemates and the dynamics in Biggie’s House begin to take shape, voting is officially open for the season.
This week, voting works a little differently. Instead of voting to save a housemate from eviction, viewers will be choosing one male and one female housemate to take on the special Gambit role.
The two selected housemates will remain in Biggie’s House until the end of the season, taking part in tasks, challenges and other house activities alongside the rest of the housemates. However, they will not be eligible to win the ₦160 million grand prize.
Whether you’re voting for the first time or need a refresher on the process, here’s a simple guide to registering and casting your votes.
First Things First: Register
Before you can vote, you’ll need to create an account. You can register through the MyDStv and MyGOtv apps or on the Africa Magic voting website.
Register on the MyDStv or MyGOtv App
- Download the MyDStv or MyGOtv app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
- Open the app and tap the BBNaija card.
- Enter your personal details and create a password.
- Request an OTP via WhatsApp and enter it to complete your registration.
Once you’ve registered, you’re ready to start voting.
Register on the Africa Magic Website
- Visit the Africa Magic Big Brother voting page.
- Click Register and enter your personal details.
- Create a password.
- Request an OTP via WhatsApp and enter it to verify your account.
Once your account is set up, you can begin voting.
How to Vote on the MyDStv and MyGOtv Apps
To vote using either app:
- Log in and tap the BBNaija card.
- Sign in with your mobile number, Smart Card number and password.
- Select the housemate you’d like to vote for.
- Enter the number of votes you want to cast.
- Tap Vote to submit.
Voting on the apps is free.
How to Vote on the Africa Magic Website
You can also cast your votes on the Africa Magic website:
- Visit the Africa Magic Big Brother voting page.
- Log in with your mobile number and password.
- Select your preferred housemate.
- Enter the number of votes you want to cast.
- Click Vote to submit.
Earn More Votes
If you’d like a few extra votes, you can earn them through the MyDStv and MyGOtv apps by answering quizzes correctly and playing games that earn you up to 100 bonus votes on each game.

Voting is open and will close on Thursdays at 10:00 p.m. If you want your preferred housemate to become one of this season’s Gambits, be sure to cast your votes before the voting window closes.
