2023: Thugs destroyed all my campaign billboards – PDP House of Assembly candidate, Adeyanju raises alarm

A House of Assembly candidate in Yewa North State Constituency 2 on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Adeyanju Bamidele *(ADEBAM)* has claimed all his campaign billboards have been destroyed and removed.

Adeyanju made this disclosure during a visitation to the incident on Tuesday

He said that there have been a series of reports of the destruction of campaign billboards ahead of the 2023 elections by some hoodlums in the state.

ADEBAM regretted that all his billboards erected in the area of Ojo-Odan axis within the State constituency have been totally destroyed and removed

He alleged that the billboards were destroyed by members of the rulling party APC.

He said the ruling party is afraid of defeat and that is why his campaign billboards are being destroyed.

He alleged that certain individuals afraid of his trajectory, sponsor political thugs to destroy his campaign billboards and urged security agencies to rise to the occasion.

“It is because the opposition party has accept defeat that’s why they’re destroying and removing our billboards” Adeyanju said.

“That is why I said that the primary aim of any government is to protect the lives and property of the citizens. If they cannot do that, they should resign or we vote them out.

“Why are they destroying my campaign billboards? It shows that they are afraid. People are now wiser. People are ready to vote for individuals and not political parties.

“It is very wrong for someone to send political thugs to destroy my campaign billboards. I am calling on the security agencies to look into this”.
