Meet Otunba Olaide Kazeem, The Baba Egbe Regberegbe 86, 87 & 88
Otunba Olaide Lateef Kazeem, FCCA, FCA was born on 01 January 1973. He started his career with Deloitte Nigeria where he trained as an auditor and qualified as a chartered accountant, and rose to the position of Audit Senior before moving to the UK after five and a half years with the firm. He is a fellow of both the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
Lateef attended Ijebu Ode Grammar School for his secondary school education where he emerged one of the best graduating students with eight A’s and one credit in his 1991 school certificate exams. He attended Obafemi Awolowo University for his Bachelor’s degree in accounting, School of Oriental & African Studies (SOAS), Univeristy of London for his postgraduate diploma in development economics and obtained MSc Health Economics Policy & Management from the London School of Economics & Politucal Science (LSE), England.
During the a period of close to two decades in the UK, Lateef has worked in various senior finance, management and leadership roles within the England’s National Heath Service (NHS) and UK’s central government departments and agencies like the Department for Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS), National Offender Management Service (NOMS) of the UK’s Ministry of Justice and UK’s Department of Health & Social Care (DHSC) and including as as Assistant Director of Finance at Isle of Wight Hospital NHS Trust in the UK. And some of his roles have included: Financial Controller with each of Wednesbury & West Bromwich PCT/Sandwell PCT (NHS) in West Bromwich, Enfield PCT (NHS) in London, and South London NHS Commissioning Support Unit, Assistant Director of Finance at Isle of Wight Hospital NHS Trust, Head of Financial Control & Assurance with Central & North West London NHS Foundation Trust, Finance & Accounting Manager with Human Fertilisation & Embryology Authority (HFEA), London, COVID-19 Finance Operations Lead with the Department of Health & Social Care (DHSC), among others.
Lateef is the Chief Consultant of Latrad UK Limited, his financial and management consulting firm and Managing Partner of his firm of chartered accountants in Lagos, OL Kazeem & Co. (Chartered Accountant)
