Terrorists operating within the forest area of Jibiya Local Government Area of Katsina State, North-West Nigeria have killed two people and abducted three others at Magamar Jibiya.
This is coming few hours after terrorists killed a businessman whom they collected ransom of N4 million from his family in Kafur Local Government Area of the State.
According to a source in the area, the Magamar attack occured on Saturday night at about 9.15 pm.
It was gathered that, the terrorists stopped two vehicles, killed two passengers and abducted three others into the forest.
The joint team of the Nigerian Army and the Police could not save the victims even as they engaged the terrorists in a gun duel.
No official statement has been issued by the authorities in the State as at the time of filing this report.
Jibiya Local Government Area which is one of the commercial hubs of Katsina State, is sharing borders with Niger Republic
