The group however called on security agencies in the state to be alert to the threats by Miyatti Allah as such threats often come with renewed attacks on Benue communities.
Miyatti Allah had threatened to drag Gov. Ortom to the International Criminal Court following statements it considered offensive in the speech of the Governor at the recent inauguration of State owned security outfit codenamed Community Volunteer Guard.
The Benue Youth Forum believed the fears of Miyatti Allah is completely misguided and counter productive even as it called for the indictment of the Fulani socio-cultural group for crimes against humanity especially for the massacre of dozens of people in the State.
The Benue Youth Forum(BYF) called on the people of the State to put aside their differences and support the State Governor to deploy legal means to protect the State.
