Hon Babajide Owodunni Visits Ikenne Local Government Colliagiate Leaders

Hon. Babajide Owodunni one of the aspirant contesting the post of ikenne local government house of Assembly pay scheduled visit to the colliagiate leaders in ikenne local government yesterday 4th of April 2022 to plead for prayers and support from party leaders in the ikenne local government and make a donations of two million naira to the party development.

In is speech he appreciates all the ikenne local government PDP leaders for there support during the last chairmanship election he contested, he said the reasons for coming to meet the collegiate leaders is to inform them of his aspiration to contest the post of ikenne local Government House of Assembly. In which he pray and believes that the party ticket should be given to a loyal party member like him, who remain steadfast even in the face of intimidation from the ruling party during the last chairmanship elections.

The Ikenne local government party publicity secretary Mrs Funmi Desalu who spoke on behalf of the Hon Babajide Owodunni’s entourage, said Babajide is a good man who as used his God given resources to uplift the name of the party, she further emphasized the ability of Babajide to mobilize for the party which will be instrumental to the party victory in the general election for our local government. She pleaded for the blessings of the leaders for Babajide Owodunni.

Hon. Seye Sonuga one of the notable leader in ikenne local government and the senior legislative aide to Hon Oladipupo Adebutu in the eight Assembly who spoke among other leaders pleaded with the ikenne local government colliagiate leaders to consider Hon Babajide Owodunni for the party ticket for the ikenne local government house of Assembly because he is a tested and trusted man who will make the party proud. He ask for the prayers of the elders for Babajide Owodunni.

The collegiate Chairman Rot. Kayode Ogunderu appreciate the visit of Babajide Owodunni and the two million naira donations, he said Babajide is one of the young illustrious son of Ikenne local government that will excel politically because of his good charisma and generosity to people of ikenne local government and beyond. He said Babajide will get the leaders blessings today because he as done very well to the local government and pleaded with all our leaders that this is a contest we should give room for political permutation in our local government.
