Ramadan: Prince Adebayo Urges Muslims Umar To Pray For Nigeria
The presidential aspirant of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), has encouraged Muslims all over the planet to pray for Nigeria as they prepare for the fasting that shapes the holy month.
Prince made this appealing in a new tweet he shared through his authority Twitter page.
While encouraging the Muslims to pray for Nigeria, the SDP presidential aspirant likewise asked Nigerians to be focused on building an equitable and fair society for all.
“In this holy month of Ramadan, let us note that self denial by way of fasting is a metaphor of spiritual sacrifice, a down payment on our faith in expectations of divine mercy and blessings of Allah SWT.
“May we be so committed to building a just, fair society. Pray for Nigeria,” he tweeted:
Ramadan in Nigeria began in the evening of Friday, first April to end on Sunday first May, 2022.
The start date is determined by a sighting of the first faint crescent of the new moon and this year officials have conjecture Ramadan to start either on Saturday, April 2, or Sunday, April 3.
It lasts between 29 and 30 days, until the locating of the following crescent moon denotes the end of the blessed month and the arrival of Shawwal, the 10th month of the Islamic Hijri schedule.
