Hon. (Dr) Oladidupo Adebutu, the Lisa Aje of Egbaland, has described the death of Oba Adegboyega Dosunmu (Amororo II) as a huge loss to Owu Kingdom, Ogun state and Nigeria.

In a condolence letter signed by his Media Consultant, Afolabi Orekoya, Adebutu described the late Monarch as a progressive and community builder, an achiever par excellence as well as a brave Monarch.

The condolence message also mentioned that the demise of the first class traditional ruler was a monumental loss to the traditional institution in Ogun State.

“He was a great king who dedicated his life to the service of his people, he was a community builder, he did so without discrimination. He also contributed immensely to the unity of the entire Owu and Egba people”.

He said further that “During his reign, the peace and development of Owu Kingdom was a major concern to him. Owu Kingdom and Ogun State has lost a rare gem, Kabiyesi’s death is a colossal loss”.

Adebutu said the Monarch will be remembered for his genuine roles as a peacemaker and he prayed that God grant the family the strength to bear the painful loss and grant the soul of the late traditional ruler a eternal repose.
