The 9th Legislative Ogun State Councillors Forum Inaugurated

The 9th legislative Ogun State Councillors Forum was inaugurated on Thursday 2nd December,2021 at the Deputy Governor’s Conference hall which was chaired by the former Chairman of the Forum in person of Hon.(Asiwaju) Adewale  Aka who piloted the Proceedings and the election of the 9th legislative Council Executives from all the 20 Local Government Areas in Ogun State.
The Position he held since the last Government  dispensation under the erstwhile Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun) till the inauguration that held.

It was unanimously agreed by the House Leaders present to zone the Chairman of the Forum to Ogun East Senatorial District and district House Leaders were asked to nominate who they wanted to lead them as the chairman. The nomination was moved by Hon. Akindele Fasheyi leader of the house from Ijebu East Local Government Area who nominated Honorable Oladele Otesanya leader of the House from Ikenne Local Government Area to be the Chairman of the Forum and this was seconded by the House Leader from Shagamu Local Government in  person of Honorable Ayodele Ojuroye.

In which the other House Leaders from the same zone Ogun East district unanimously supported motion.

While other positions were also elected among the three(3) senatorial districts.

The  Members of Executives for the 9th legislative Council of Ogun State Councillors Forum are:

2.Hon. Olanrewaju Adeleye – Vice Chairman I

3.Hon.Taiwo Obadina – Vice Chairman II

4.Hon.(Mrs.) olamide  Ogunwale

5.Hon(Mrs.) Bukonla Balogun – Secretary

6.Hon. Sikiru Sanni – Treasurer

7.Hon Lawrence – Fin Sec

8.Hon. Adeyemi Rotimi – PRO

9.Hon. Sikiru Bello – Asst. Treasurer

10. Hon.Abass Lanre – Organizing Secretary

11. Hon.Ayodele- Ex- Officio I

12.Hon. Ezekiel – Ex- Officio II

The outgone Chairman in person of Hon(Asiwaju) Adewale Aka appealled to the newly elected Executives for them to make sure that their Offices are use in bringing development to the people of Ogun State and making them feel the impact of the Legislative organ of government at their various local government level.

While he appreciated all the House Leaders for making it down despite their busy schedule to make this day a reality.
