Eid Al-Fitri: Adebutu Urges Muslims To Emulate Prophet Muhammed

The Chairman, Committee on Rural Development at the 8th Assembly, Federal House of Representatives, Hon (Dr) Oladipupo Adebutu, has admonished the Muslim brothers and sisters to imbibe the good virtues of the Prophet Muhammed (SAW).

In a statement released by the Media Consultant, Afolabi Orekoya, Adebutu felicitated with the Muslims on the occasion of Eid el Fitri enjoining them to use the period to pray to Allah for peace and unity to reign in the country.

“The period of the Ramadan fast was a moment of sacrifice and self denial. All Muslims should put into practice the lessons learnt during the period and use the Eid el Fitri occasion to seek God’s face for tranquillity and peace to reign in the land.

While positing that peace is a major panacea to the development of the country, Adebutu, prays to Allah for the forgiveness of the sins of all.
